Description

General description
Tedlar is recommended in several US EPA methods for sampling VOCs and sulfur compounds. Our Tedlar is made from a high-quality 2 mil Tedlar film for superior inertness, impermeability, sample integrity and good recovery data. Our Push Lock Valve (PLV) and seam-sealing process ensure that these bags are sturdy and virtually leak-proof, even under the most demanding sampling and shipping conditions.
Application

Impact of Breath Sample Collection Method and Length of Storage of Breath Samples in Tedlar Bags on the Level of Selected Volatiles Assessed Using Gas Chromatography-Ion Mobility Spectrometry (GC-IMS): This study underscores the crucial role of Tedlar bags in preserving the integrity of volatile compounds in breath samples, vital for reliable diagnostic and environmental monitoring (Czippelova et al., 2024).

Colorectal Cancer Diagnosis through Breath Test Using a Portable Breath Analyzer—Preliminary Data: Illustrates the application of Tedlar gas sampling bags in clinical settings for early diagnosis of diseases, highlighting the integration with portable analyzers for efficient healthcare solutions (Picciariello et al., 2024).

Preservation of Exhaled Breath Samples for Analysis by Off-line SESI-HRMS: Proof-of-Concept Study: Demonstrates the efficiency of Tedlar bags in storing breath samples for sophisticated high-resolution mass spectrometry analysis, important for both clinical and environmental applications (Sola-Martínez et al., 2023).
