Description

Application

Influence of Biogenic Material Content on the Biodegradability of Styrene-Butadiene Composites with Incorporated Chlorella vulgaris Biomass.: This study explores the impact of biogenic materials on the biodegradability of styrene-butadiene composites. It highlights the potential of polybutadiene composites in developing environmentally friendly materials, particularly in the context of high resilience rubber applications (Bumbac et al., 2024).

Exploring the synergistic effect of carboxymethyl cellulose and chitosan in enhancing thermal stability of polyurethanes through statistical mixture design approach.: Although focused on polyurethanes, this research provides insights into the thermal stability enhancement techniques that could be applied to polybutadiene in medical device materials and life science manufacturing polymers (Javaid et al., 2024).

Self-Amplified HF Release and Polymer Deconstruction Cascades Triggered by Mechanical Force.: This article discusses the deconstruction of polymers triggered by mechanical force, offering valuable knowledge for developing synthetic rubber properties for healthcare applications, especially in polybutadiene-based medical equipment (Hu et al., 2024).

Rheological and Mechanical Characterization of 3D-Printable Solid Propellant Slurry.: The research covers the mechanical properties and 3D-printing capabilities of polymer slurries, pertinent to the development of high resilience polybutadiene for life science manufacturing (Zumbo et al., 2024).

Rubber Oxygenase Degradation Assay by UV-Labeling and Gel Permeation Chromatography.: This study provides insights into the degradation mechanisms of rubber materials, relevant for improving the durability and properties of polybutadiene rubber in medical device innovation (Adjedje et al., 2024).
