Description

Application

Immunohistochemical and Electron Microscopy Evolution in the Diagnosis of Lung Cancer in Iraq.: This study uses paraffin wax-embedded tissue samples for immunohistochemical and electron microscopy analyses to improve the diagnosis of lung cancer. Paraffin wax′s role in preserving tissue morphology and molecular integrity is crucial for accurate histological assessments (Saleem Abd Alkreem Alsaqi, 2022).

Frequency of Expression of PD-1 and PD-L1 In Head And Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma And their Association With Nodal Metastasis: A Cross-Sectional Study.: Utilizing paraffin wax-embedded samples, this study examines the expression of PD-1 and PD-L1 in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, correlating their presence with nodal metastasis, thus aiding in the understanding of cancer progression and potential therapeutic targets (Malik et al., 2022).

Evaluation of Cytopathological Techniques for the Diagnosis of Canine Visceral Leishmaniosis with Lymph Node Samples.: This research evaluates cytopathological techniques for diagnosing canine visceral leishmaniosis using paraffin wax-embedded lymph node samples, demonstrating the material′s importance in preserving tissue samples for accurate diagnostic analysis (Guerra et al., 2019).

Systematic evaluation of PAXgene tissue fixation for the histopathological and molecular study of lung cancer.: The study compares PAXgene tissue fixation with traditional paraffin wax embedding for lung cancer tissues, highlighting paraffin wax′s reliability in maintaining tissue integrity for histopathological and molecular studies (Southwood et al., 2020).

Semi-automated standardisation of melanin bleaching procedures of heavily pigmented melanocytic lesions for immunohistochemical analysis on an automated platform.: This study standardizes melanin bleaching procedures for heavily pigmented lesions using paraffin wax-embedded samples, facilitating accurate immunohistochemical analysis and improving diagnostic accuracy (Orchard et al., 2019).
