Description

Application

RAFT homopolymerization of vinylbenzyl chloride with benzyl ethyl trithiocarbonate and synthesis of block copolymers from poly (VBC) macro-RAFT agent: The study discusses living radical polymerizations applied to the polymerization of vinylbenzyl chloride (Sato et al., 2014).

Quaternized poly (styrene-co-vinylbenzyl chloride) anion exchange membranes for alkaline water electrolysers: This paper details the use of a styrene and vinylbenzyl chloride co-polymer as the polymer backbone for developing anion exchange membranes (Vengatesan et al., 2015).

Polybenzimidazole-crosslinked poly (vinylbenzyl chloride) with quaternary 1, 4-diazabicyclo (2.2. 2) octane groups as high-performance anion exchange membrane: The research highlights the crosslinking of polybenzimidazole with poly(vinylbenzyl chloride), enhancing the membrane′s flexibility and strength in various states (Lu et al., 2015).

Preparation and characterization of sulfur-vinylbenzyl chloride polymer under optimized reaction conditions using inverse vulcanization: This study focuses on the reaction of 4-vinylbenzyl chloride with sulfur under optimized conditions to produce a linear sulfur-based polymer (Abbasi et al., 2021).
