The ISOQUANT Isoaspartate Detection Kit provides a biochemical method to quantify isoaspartic acid residues in purified proteins and peptides. Protein isoaspartyl methyltransferase transfers methyl groups from S-adenosyl-L-methionine to isoaspartyl residues, enabling analysis of a common product of protein aging and asparagine deamidation. The assay supports studies of protein stability, degradation during storage, and changes occurring during biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The kit includes the methyltransferase enzyme, reaction buffer, an isoaspartyl reference standard, methyl donor, stop solution, and S-adenosyl-homocysteine. The package provides reagents for 100 assays intended for research and analytical applications.
