Answer:0.2 µm.
Answer:Hydrophilic polyamide (nylon).
Answer:293 mm diameter; 25 nonsterile discs per pack.
Sartorius polyamide membrane filters are hydrophilic nylon discs for filtering aqueous solutions, organic solvents and solvent mixtures in analytical sample preparation and laboratory liquid processing. The Type 25007 membrane has a 0.2 µm pore size, a 293 mm disc diameter and a nominal thickness of 110 µm. Polyamide offers broad solvent compatibility and suits HPLC-related solvent preparation, particle removal and liquid clarification where its adsorption characteristics are appropriate. The white, ungridded membranes are supplied nonsterile in a pack of 25. Unlike low-protein-binding cellulose acetate membranes, polyamide membranes can show relatively high nonspecific adsorption, making matrix and analyte compatibility important when selecting a filtration material.
