The Ambr CF Hydrosart 30 kDa filtration cassette is designed for automated small-scale tangential-flow filtration studies with proteins and other biomolecules. The regenerated-cellulose-based Hydrosart membrane provides an alternative surface chemistry to PES, while the 30 kDa cutoff supports intermediate-cutoff screening during concentration and diafiltration. Each disposable cassette presents 10 cm² of active membrane area for the Ambr Crossflow holder and can be incorporated into parallel process-development runs. The format is well suited to comparing retention, buffer exchange performance, achievable concentration factors and flux behavior before committing material to larger filtration devices. Its nominal molecular-weight cutoff does not guarantee identical retention for proteins with different conformations or solution environments. Screening should therefore record yield, permeate losses and pressure behavior using representative feed. The standard supply contains four 10 cm² cassettes per box.
