Answer:No. The components are delivered non-sterile; an appropriate validated sterilization process is needed before sterile use.
The Sartorius Clipster size L aseptic disconnector is a single-use polycarbonate component for mechanically separating compatible bioprocess transfer tubing while maintaining a sealed fluid path. The size L version accommodates 3/8-inch ID × 5/8-inch OD and 1/2-inch ID × 3/4-inch OD tubing configurations, subject to the selected validated silicone or thermoplastic-elastomer material. After installation at the intended disconnection point, a separately supplied size L handheld Clipster tool and appropriate blade execute the tube cut. The disconnection procedure is designed for bag assemblies, buffer transfer and downstream process lines where closed handling is necessary. Ten components are supplied in a pack. This component is delivered non-sterile; it must be handled and sterilized as required by the validated process and compatibility instructions before sterile use. The tool and blades are separate accessories, not part of this component pack.
Unless otherwise stated, the minimum order amount is USD 1,000.
