Description
This robust, and easy-to-use device facilitates sterile tube disconnects with precision. The disconnection process is executed using a handheld tool, available separately, allowing for quick and efficient cutting at the point of use. Clipster®is the only solution that can be installed by the operator directly at the disconnection point, ensuring aseptic conditions without fluid contact, making it easily validated.
Mechanical disconnection can be performed on platinum-cured silicone and thermoplastic tubings (refer to the datasheet for a list of validated materials.)
Sterility assurance is proven through validation with a bacterial challenge test (BCT) via immersion in B. Atropheus at 10E6 CFU/mL.
