The Sartorius silicone TC gasket is a replacement sanitary sealing element for 1.5-inch tri-clamp connections in compatible Maxicaps holder arrangements. It fits the TC 50.5 mm connection format and is identified by the 38.1 mm by 1.65 mm gasket dimension in the product designation. Silicone elasticity allows the gasket to form a compression seal between correctly matched ferrule faces when secured by an appropriate clamp. A sound gasket is important for containing process fluids and maintaining clean, leak-resistant connections during filtration work.
