It reduces bacterial contamination as purified water leaves the system and reaches a collection vessel. The filter supports water-handling workflows on compatible Barnstead GenPure, GenPure Pro, GenPure xCAD, LabTower EDI, LabTower TII, MicroPure, Smart2Pure, and Smart2Pure Pro systems. It is a replaceable point-of-use consumable rather than a primary purification cartridge. The filter can withstand up to five autoclaving cycles, supporting maintenance protocols that require re-sterilization of the dispensing accessory.
