Answer:It conditions the sample pH to reduce hydrogen-ion interference during low-level sodium measurement.
Answer:One 0.8 L reagent container.
Answer:No. It is a single reagent product, without the other annual maintenance supplies.
Thermo Scientific Orion DIPA reagent supports low-level sodium monitoring by conditioning the sample chemistry before measurement with a sodium-selective electrode. Diisopropylamine raises the pH of the analyzer sample stream, helping suppress hydrogen-ion interference in the determination of very low sodium concentrations. This 0.8 L reagent is associated with compatible Orion online process analyzers, particularly sodium measurement systems used in power-generation and high-purity water applications. Correct reagent delivery is essential because insufficient pH adjustment can reduce measurement reliability even when calibration standards are within specification. Inspect the reagent supply and diffusion tubing during routine preventive maintenance, and follow the instrument's controlled replacement procedure. Handle the reagent with appropriate chemical protection and ventilation, and keep containers closed when not connected to the dosing system. It is a single DIPA reagent container, not a bundled annual consumables kit.
