BigDye XTerminator™ Purification Kit is used to clean Sanger cycle-sequencing reactions before capillary electrophoresis. This 100-reaction configuration contains 2 mL of BigDye XTerminator Solution and 9 mL of SAM™ Solution. The workflow removes unincorporated dye terminators, salts, and other sequencing-reaction components that can interfere with electrophoretic injection or data quality. Purification is performed in the sequencing plate, helping reduce transfers compared with precipitation-based cleanup methods and supporting automated or higher-throughput sequencing workflows. The cleaned samples are compatible with common Applied Biosystems genetic analyzers, including SeqStudio, 3500/3500xL, 3730/3730xl, and 3130/3130xl systems. Store BigDye XTerminator Solution at 2–8 °C and SAM Solution under the permitted refrigerated or ambient conditions; neither reagent should be frozen.
