AgPath-ID™ One-Step RT-PCR Reagents provide a single-tube TaqMan™ real-time RT-PCR workflow for sensitive amplification of RNA targets, particularly pathogen assays. This 1000-reaction configuration is designed for 25 µL reactions and contains 14 mL of 2X RT-PCR Buffer, 1100 µL of 25X RT-PCR Enzyme Mix, and 25 mL of nuclease-free water. The enzyme mix combines ArrayScript™ Reverse Transcriptase with AmpliTaq Gold™ DNA Polymerase, while the buffer contains ROX passive reference dye for fluorescence normalization. The chemistry is optimized for single or duplex primer/probe assays and helps reduce handling by completing reverse transcription and PCR in one closed tube. It is useful for veterinary, food-safety, and research pathogen-detection workflows that require repeatable RNA amplification. Store the enzyme and buffer components frozen at −10 to −30 °C.
