Answer:No. The CTS KnockOut DMEM formulation contains no L-glutamine.
Answer:Human embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells.
Gibco CTS™ KnockOut™ DMEM is a sterile-filtered basal medium optimized for culturing undifferentiated human embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells. Its formulation supports pluripotent stem cell expansion in appropriately supplemented culture systems and has an osmolality selected to approximate the environment of early mouse embryonic tissues. This 500 mL liquid medium is manufactured within the CTS cell-therapy supply portfolio and is intended to support cell and gene therapy research, development, and manufacturing activities. It contains no L-glutamine, allowing culture developers to add supplements appropriate to their process. The product is classified as animal-origin-free, and its accompanying documentation can support raw-material assessment. Store at 2–8°C and protect from light. It is basal medium, not a complete growth-factor-supplemented culture system.
