Lipofectamine™ 3000 Transfection Reagent, 1.5 mL is designed for lipid-based introduction of nucleic acids into a broad range of cultured mammalian cells, including commonly used established lines and difficult-to-transfect cells. The formulation supports plasmid DNA delivery for transient gene-expression experiments, reporter studies and genome-editing workflows, and the product is also associated with RNA-interference applications. This package contains one 1.5 mL vial of Lipofectamine 3000 Reagent together with a separate 1.5 mL vial of P3000 Enhancer Reagent. The paired reagents help researchers assemble transfection complexes for experiments in multiwell plates and flasks while optimizing delivery efficiency and cellular viability. The package provides approximately 1,000–1,500 transfections in a 24-well plate format or 200–250 transfections in a 6-well format, depending on the protocol. The reagent is compatible with serum-containing culture conditions and offers a defined approach for scaling transfection across 6-, 12-, 24-, 48- and 96-well plates. Refrigerate both components at 2–8°C and do not freeze them.
