TSKgel ODS-100V guard cartridges provide replaceable protective chromatography beds for compatible 4.6 mm ID ODS-100V analytical columns. This configuration contains three guard cartridges with 3.2 × 15 mm dimensions and 5 µm reversed-phase ODS-100V packing. Matching C18 stationary-phase chemistry supports consistent analytical selectivity while the guard retains particulates and more strongly interacting sample contaminants. Routine guard replacement can help preserve peak shape, pressure stability, and service life of the more expensive analytical column during repeated sample injections. The cartridges are used with the matching Tosoh 3.2 mm ID guard cartridge holder, ordered separately. The three-pack contains packed cartridges, not a complete analytical column or installed holder assembly. It is particularly relevant for complex pharmaceutical, environmental, and food samples.
