Answer:This CM-STAT column is 4.6 mm ID × 100 mm long with 7 µm particles.
Answer:The weak cation-exchange phase uses carboxymethyl groups.
Answer:Applications include monoclonal antibody charge isoforms, proteins, and PEGylated protein variants.
TSKgel CM-STAT is a polymer-based weak cation-exchange column developed for rapid separation of protein charge variants. This specific analytical format measures 4.6 × 100 mm and uses 7 µm nonporous resin particles with carboxymethyl functional groups. The hydrophilic surface architecture supports accessible exchange sites and reproducible protein interactions while limiting unwanted hydrophobic adsorption. It is suitable for monoclonal antibody charge-variant analysis, protein isoforms, PEGylated proteins, and selected peptide samples. The nonporous STAT platform supports relatively rapid separations at manageable pressure and can be used for analytical method development and biopharmaceutical characterization. Unlike SP-STAT, the CM-STAT chemistry uses carboxymethyl weak cation-exchange functionality rather than sulfopropyl strong cation exchange. This product is the 4.6 mm ID analytical column.
