Answer:It uses 1.7 µm bridged-ethylene-hybrid particles with an endcapped C18 phase.
Answer:The column operates from pH 1 to 12 and is rated to 18,000 psi (1240 bar).
Answer:The column is 2.1 mm in internal diameter and 50 mm long with a 130 Å pore size.
ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 50 mm, 1/pk is designed for reversed-phase UPLC and UHPLC method development across a broad pH range. The column uses 1.7 µm spherical bridged-ethylene-hybrid particles with a 130 Å pore size and a trifunctionally bonded, endcapped C18 phase. The 2.1 mm × 50 mm format is rated to 18,000 psi (1240 bar), allowing operation at the pressures associated with sub-2 µm particle separations. The usable pH range is 1 to 12, and the phase has an 18% carbon load, low silanol activity, and a 185 m²/g surface area. The stationary phase carries the USP L1 classification. Low column bleed supports sensitive mass-spectrometry applications, while the wide pH range allows method development under strongly acidic through strongly basic mobile-phase conditions within the stated operating limits. The column is supplied one per package and includes an eCord. Its compact 50 mm length and 1.7 µm particles are suited to high-efficiency separations where shorter analysis time, high pressure capability, and broad reversed-phase method flexibility are required. The hybrid particle substrate and trifunctional bonding are engineered for strong low-pH stability, while the broad pH 1–12 window also permits high-pH method development. Parker-style endfittings complete the exact hardware format used for this UPLC column.
