Waters SunFire C18 is a general-purpose reversed-phase HPLC analytical column with endcapped C18 ligands bonded to high-purity silica. The 150 × 4.6 mm packed bed contains 5 µm particles and 100 Å pores, providing conventional method-development performance for small molecules, including many basic compounds. The high-retention C18 chemistry is suited to impurity profiling and routine analytical separations with appropriate low-pH mobile phases. Its published operating range is pH 2–8 with a maximum pressure of 6,000 psi. The product is supplied as one complete analytical column.
