Waters TFE Fluidic Tubing is a 25 ft (7.6 m) length of chemically resistant fluoropolymer tubing with a nominal 0.149 in (3.78 mm) outside diameter and 0.119 in (3.0 mm) inside diameter. This wide-bore line is used in compatible instrument fluid-transfer, solvent-handling or service applications where the tubing material and fitting dimensions match the installed arrangement. TFE tubing provides a nonmetallic fluid contact surface, but its pressure capability depends on wall thickness, temperature and the selected fitting. The 3.0 mm bore should not be substituted for narrow-bore analytical capillaries, since the internal volume is much larger and would change system dispersion and solvent usage. During replacement, measure the required run length and confirm chemical compatibility with the actual liquids. Cut square ends, avoid kinks and use fittings designed for the specified outer diameter. The package contains tubing, not a finished flow assembly.
