| Application | ICFC - Quality tested |
| Recommended Usage | Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by intracellular immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per million cells in 100 µL staining volume or 5 µL per 100 µL of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. * Alexa Fluor® 488 has a maximum emission of 519 nm when it is excited at 488 nm. | Application Notes | This clone was tested for ICC using HeLa cells and SH-SY5Y cells fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with either methanol or Triton X-100. Both methods resulted in specific, but weak GATA4 staining. We therefore do not recommend this clone for the application. While this clone detected GATA4 by WB, it also showed a very weak affinity for the protein. Because of this, we do not recommend this clone for the application. This clone failed IHC testing due to lack of specificity for GATA4. We therefore do not recommend this clone for the application. This clone is not compatible with our True Nuclear™ Transcription Factor and Cyto-Fast™ buffer sets. We recommend using using True-Phos™ Perm Buffer (Cat. No. 425401) for ICFC. |
