| Disclaimer | WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS Use appropriate personal protective equipment and safety practices per universal precautions when working with this reagent. Refer to the reagent safety data sheet. This antibody contains sodium azide. Follow federal, state and local regulations to dispose of this reagent. Sodium azide build-up in metal wastepipes may lead to explosive conditions; if disposing of reagent down wastepipes, flush with water after disposal. All specimens, samples and any material coming in contact with them should be considered potentially infectious and should be disposed of with proper precautions and in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Do not use this reagent beyond the expiration date stated on the label. Do not use this reagent if it appears cloudy or if there is any change in the appearance of the reagent as these may be an indication of possible deterioration. Avoid prolonged exposure of the reagent or stained cells to light. |
Answer:The reagent uses mouse monoclonal clone 24-31 conjugated to PE/Cyanine7.
Answer:The vial contains 500 µL at 100 µg/mL.
Answer:No. The product datasheet designates it as an analyte-specific reagent (ASR), with analytical and performance characteristics not established.
BioLegend PE/Cyanine7 anti-human CD154 is a tandem-fluorophore-conjugated mouse monoclonal antibody for flow cytometric analysis of human CD154, also known as CD40 ligand. Clone 24-31 targets a surface-associated signaling molecule that can be expressed on activated T cells and participates in CD40-dependent immune interactions. The reagent is supplied as 500 µL at 100 µg/mL and is designated an analyte-specific reagent (ASR), for which analytical and performance characteristics have not been established. PE/Cyanine7 fluorescence requires suitable excitation, detector selection and compensation controls, especially in multicolor panels containing other PE tandems. Stain appropriately activated cells under a validated protocol, titrate the reagent and include biological and fluorochrome controls. Keep the antibody at 2–8 °C, shield it from prolonged light exposure and avoid freezing. Do not describe the reagent as a fully validated clinical assay.
