The multimodal anion exchanger ligand of Capto adhere ImpRes is immobilized to the base matrix and interacts with the target molecule through multiple types of interactions.
The high selectivity of the anion multimodal ligand allows operation in a variety of process conditions to solve challenging purification problems. Contaminants such as DNA, host cell proteins, leached protein A, aggregates, and viruses are efficiently removed.

Application Note

Cytiva Capto adhere ImpRes combines strong anion exchange and multimodal interaction mechanisms in a high-resolution chromatography resin for biopharmaceutical polishing. The 5 L bulk format supplies resin for packing preparative columns used to separate monoclonal antibodies, aggregates and other process impurities. Its approximately 40 µm particles enable selective purification under optimized buffer pH, conductivity and loading conditions. In bind-and-elute operation, the desired product binds to the stationary phase and is recovered through controlled elution. The same ligand chemistry also supports polishing process studies in which targeted impurities are retained. Capto adhere ImpRes belongs to Cytiva’s BioProcess chromatography resin portfolio and is used in downstream purification process development, scale-up and production. This container holds unpacked resin rather than a prepacked chromatography column.
