Answer:5 L of bulk chromatography resin.
Answer:N-benzyl-N-methyl ethanolamine.
Answer:No. It is a multimodal resin commonly used for downstream polishing.
Cytiva Capto™ adhere multimodal chromatography resin supports antibody polishing where removal of aggregates, host-cell proteins and other process-related impurities is required. The functional ligand is N-benzyl-N-methyl ethanolamine, immobilized on a highly cross-linked agarose matrix. Its combination of electrostatic and nonionic interaction mechanisms broadens separation selectivity beyond a conventional anion exchanger. This 5 L presentation provides bulk medium for preparative or process-scale column packing, including studies that transfer a qualified flow-through polishing step toward manufacturing. Capto adhere is not a protein A capture medium and should be selected independently of Capto adhere ImpRes because their bead properties and operating characteristics differ.
