Application Note

This Cytiva fraction collection cassette holds a single compatible deep-well plate for automated recovery of separated protein fractions. It supports 24-, 48-, or 96-well deep-well plate formats and is intended for compatible ÄKTA fraction collection equipment, including the F9-C configuration and ÄKTA avant systems. Placing the plate in a dedicated cassette keeps the collection positions aligned with the collector's programmed dispensing pattern. Deep-well plate collection can simplify downstream screening, analytical sampling, and parallel evaluation of chromatographic peaks without manually transferring each fraction into individual tubes. The package contains two cassettes, not two filled plates or complete fraction collector assemblies. Selection of actual plate volume and geometry remains dependent on the compatible plate and fraction collector setup.
