Biacore 96-well microplate foils provide protective sealing for compatible 96-well sample plates used with automated SPR instruments. The transparent, self-adhesive plastic foil limits evaporation, accidental splashing and contamination while allowing the autosampler to access the wells through the specified instrument workflow. Reliable well sealing is valuable in long kinetic sequences, repeated injections and studies that use small sample volumes or concentration series. Apply foil to a clean, dry plate rim and maintain alignment across all well openings; poor adhesion may affect access or sample volume during an unattended run. Select this foil for 96-well plates rather than the different foil designed for 384-well microplates. The foil is a disposable plate-cover accessory and does not function as a sensor chip, septum cap or sample well. Verify the intended plate and Biacore autosampler configuration before use. The package contains 100 foils for 96-well microplates.
