The Pall sterile syringe filter uses a 17 µm polyester screen housed in a 25 mm diameter device for rapid particle screening during fluid handling and preparation. The female-Luer-lock and male-Luer-lock connection format supports inline attachment to compatible syringes or tubing interfaces. This coarse screen is intended for particulate removal, not 0.2 µm sterilizing-grade microbial filtration. The sterile devices are packaged as 50 filters per case and are associated with Pall medical syringe-filter supply within the Cytiva/Pall product portfolio.
