Answer:No. This is a dry-powder basal medium package designed to prepare 100 L of CHO fed-batch medium after reconstitution.
Answer:It is formulated for chemically defined fed-batch cultivation of compatible suspension-adapted CHO cell lines.
Answer:No. The basal medium and concentrated CHO feeding formulation are separate products; select and prepare the feed as required by the culture process.
EX-CELL Advanced CHO Fed-Batch Medium is a chemically defined, animal-component-free basal medium developed for suspension cultures of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells in bioproduction research and process development. The dry-powder formulation is prepared with suitable cell-culture-grade water to produce a nominal 100 L of reconstituted medium, rather than supplying 100 L of ready-to-use liquid. It is designed for fed-batch cultivation in combination with compatible concentrated feeds and a process-specific supplementation strategy. During medium preparation, control dissolution, pH, osmolality and final sterile filtration using the applicable preparation procedure. Monitor viability, growth and productivity through the culture to determine whether a feeding schedule supports the chosen CHO cell line.
