Answer:It uses Lifegard borosilicate glass fiber with a 2.0 µm nominal pore rating.
Answer:The capsule has 3/4 in. sanitary-flange inlet and outlet connections.
Answer:The maximum operating pressure is 80 psi at 25 °C.
Opticap XL 10 KP20A10FF1 capsule is used for nominal 2.0 µm filtration of liquid process streams. The filter medium consists of Lifegard borosilicate glass fiber, while the capsule assembly uses polypropylene housing, support, and vent-cap components with a silicone seal. This depth-style glass-fiber medium provides a 2.0 µm nominal pore rating in a self-contained cartridge with a nominal length of 10 in. Polypropylene support and vent-cap components maintain the same polymer construction used for the housing. The inlet and outlet use 3/4 in. sanitary-flange connections, allowing installation in compatible sanitary process lines. The maximum operating pressure is 80 psi at 25 °C, and the inlet-to-outlet length is 33.5 cm. After aqueous extraction, bacterial endotoxins remain below 0.1 EU/mL in the USP LAL test and at or below 1.0 EU/mL under the alternate extraction condition. Gravimetric extractables do not exceed 225 mg per capsule. The nominal pore rating and borosilicate glass-fiber construction position this capsule for clarification or prefiltration steps where a depth medium removes suspended material before a finer downstream membrane. Its integrated polypropylene capsule eliminates separate filter-housing installation for the element, while sanitary-flange connections support direct process integration. KP20A10FF1 supplies one Opticap XL 10 capsule with Lifegard 2.0 µm nominal medium.
