Application
Coal fly ash standard Reference Material (SRM) is intended for use in assessing the analytical methods used to classify coal fly ash and to determine constituent elements in coal fly ash or similar matrix.
Features and Benefits
NIST Certified Mass Fraction values for constituent elements are traceable to NIST’s realization of the SI unit of the kilogram and expressed as a percentage.
Information values for constituent elements are expressed as mass fraction.
Expiration details and instructions for use, storage, and handling are provided on the NIST certificate.
Other Notes
Certified for the analytes listed below.
Aluminum (Al), Calcium (Ca), Iron (Fe), Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Silicon (Si), Sodium (Na), Sulfur (S), Titanium (Ti), Mercury (Hg)
Reference/Informational value is provided for the following analytes.
Antimony (Sb), Arsenic (As), Barium (Ba), Beryllium (Be), Cobalt (Co), Chromium (Cr), Cesium (Cs), Europium (Eu), Hafnium (Hf), Lead (Pb), Manganese (Mn), Nickel (Ni), Scandium (Sc), Selenium (Se), Strontium (Sr), Thorium (Th), Zinc (Zn), Aluminum Oxide (Al₂O₃), Barium oxide (BaO), Ferric Oxide (Fe₂O₃), Potassium oxide (K₂O), Magnesium oxide (MgO), Manganese oxide (MnO), Sodium oxide (Na₂O), Silicon dioxide (SiO₂), Strontium oxide (SrO), Titanium dioxide (TiO₂)
