Thermo Fisher, 11791020, Gateway™ LR Clonase™ II Enzyme mix, 20 Reactions

Gateway™ LR Clonase™ II Enzyme Mix catalyzes site-specific recombination between an attL-containing entry clone and an attR-containing destination vector to generate a Gateway expression clone. This configuration supports 20 reactions. Enzymes and buffer are supplied in a single premixed formulation for convenient 10 µL reaction setup with fewer pipetting steps. The kit also includes proteinase K solution and a positive-control vector. The LR reaction allows a gene already captured in a Gateway entry clone to be transferred rapidly into one or more destination vectors for protein expression or functional studies. The system avoids conventional restriction-enzyme digestion and ligation during the transfer step.
