Answer:The package contains 25 precut nitrocellulose sheets.
Answer:The binding capacity is approximately 80 μg/cm².
Nitrocellulose Membranes, 0.45 μm is used for protein transfer and immobilization in western blotting and other membrane-based detection workflows. The product contains 25 precut sheets of pure nitrocellulose, each measuring 12 × 8 cm, with a 0.45 μm pore size. Nitrocellulose provides high affinity for proteins and a protein-binding capacity of approximately 80 μg/cm². The 0.45 μm pore structure is suited to transferring most proteins larger than approximately 20 kDa and can also support nucleic acid fragments above approximately 300 bp. The membranes are compatible with staining, immunodetection, chemiluminescence, fluorescence and radiolabel detection workflows, allowing one transfer medium to support a variety of analytical readouts. The pre-cut 12 × 8 cm sheet size corresponds to use with roughly 25 mini-gel blots per package. Nitrocellulose does not require alcohol prewetting and is easy to block, supporting conventional protein transfer and antibody-based detection protocols. Store the sheets flat at ambient temperature away from chemical vapors, sunlight, heat and ignition sources. This product is a nitrocellulose membrane, not a PVDF alternative.
