ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18 Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 150 mm, 1/pk is designed for high-efficiency reversed-phase UPLC and UHPLC separations, particularly methods involving basic compounds. The column uses charged-surface hybrid technology with an endcapped C18 phase bonded to 1.7 µm spherical hybrid particles. This configuration has a 2.1 mm internal diameter, 150 mm length, 130 Å pore size, 185 m²/g surface area, and 15% carbon load. The charged-surface chemistry provides selectivity different from conventional C18 phases and helps improve basic-analyte peak shape and loading behavior while retaining low column bleed. Its operating pH range is 1–11 and maximum pressure is 18,000 psi (1240 bar), supporting high-pressure method development over a broad range of mobile-phase conditions. The phase is classified as USP L1, and the column uses Parker-style endfittings and includes eCord functionality. It supports analytical workflows that need sub-2 µm reversed-phase efficiency with a tailored selectivity for challenging basic molecules. This exact 150 mm configuration is supplied as a single UPLC column.
