Waters wwPTFE Acrodisc Mini syringe filters provide small-volume sample preparation before chromatographic or other laboratory analysis. Each filter has a 13 mm hydrophilic, water-wettable polytetrafluoroethylene membrane with a nominal 0.2 µm pore rating in a polypropylene housing. The minispike format is optimized for samples below 10 mL and offers a low stated hold-up volume of less than 14 µL, limiting retained sample during transfer. The hydrophilic wwPTFE membrane can be considered for aqueous samples and compatible organic-solvent mixtures, subject to sample-specific chemical compatibility. Pre-filtration can reduce particulates reaching injection paths and columns, but membrane compatibility, analyte adsorption and extractables should be assessed for demanding quantitative assays. The pack contains 100 filters.
