The Waters Intelligent Intake Valve (i2V) cartridge assemblies are replacement pump inlet check-valve components for compatible ACQUITY Binary Solvent Manager and H-Class Quaternary Solvent Manager configurations. Each cartridge forms part of the intelligent intake valve arrangement that regulates solvent admission to the pump during its delivery cycle. The package contains two valve cartridges; it is not a complete pump head or a passive primary check valve. Accurate identification of the inlet-valve configuration matters because ACQUITY systems can use intelligent or passive check-valve designs that are not directly interchangeable. In service, a poorly sealing cartridge can contribute to priming faults, pressure fluctuations or inconsistent solvent delivery. Replace both cartridges only when appropriate for the pump, prime carefully and confirm normal inlet-valve operation and leak-free performance.
