The Waters stainless steel filter-frit replacement cartridge is a service component used in the primary inlet check-valve filtration arrangement of compatible ACQUITY solvent managers. The cartridge helps retain particulate contamination before it reaches sensitive check-valve parts, supporting stable pump operation when the overall fluid path is properly maintained. It is intended for supported ACQUITY Binary Solvent Manager configurations and related listed pump modules. Only the stainless steel filter cartridge is supplied; the surrounding PEEK fitting is a separate part and is not included in this replacement. It should not be mistaken for an analytical column guard cartridge or a complete assembled check valve. Depressurize the system before service, inspect the mating fitting, follow the prescribed installation procedure, prime the solvent line and test for leakage before returning the LC pump to analytical use.
