The Waters stainless steel solvent bottle filter is a critical-clean solvent inlet component for supported ACQUITY UPLC and related chromatography systems. It is installed on the mobile-phase uptake line inside the solvent reservoir to help prevent particulate material from entering the pump and downstream fluid path. This version is supplied as one stainless steel filter and is subjected to specific cleanliness and packaging requirements for UPLC use. Waters lists a 10 µm filter rating and recommends that the entire filter remain submerged during operation. The product replaces an earlier solvent bottle filter reference but should not automatically be confused with an HPLC reservoir sinker packaged to a different cleanliness standard. Check the solvent-line connection and instrument-specific service instructions, and replace the filter when flow restriction or contamination warrants maintenance.
