The Waters 715 high-pressure motorized valve assembly is a three-way fluid-control valve used in compatible HPLC autosampler and separation-module assemblies. It has two common ports and one controllable port, with an integrated stepper-motor drive for selecting the required fluid path. Within the instrument Fluids Pak it is used at the V1 high-pressure injection-valve position and the V2 high-pressure syringe-valve position. The valve supports controlled sample handling during automated injections, where reliable path switching is essential for reproducible chromatographic analysis. Compatible instruments include the Waters 717 Plus autosampler and Alliance 2695 and 2695D separation modules. The assembly is supplied as one service part and is not an entire autosampler, pump or sample-injection system. Its fit depends on the exact installed fluidic configuration.
