General description
A long chain polymer of sulfated glucose, containing 17 - 20% sulfur. Has been used as an anticoagulant and has been shown to inhibit the binding of HIV-1 to CD4⁺ T lymphocytes. Used to accelerate hybridization of DNA probes to immobilized nucleic acids.

Preparation Note
Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 6 months at -20°C.
