Application

Oxidative potential of particulate matter and its association to respiratory health endpoints in high-altitude cities in Bolivia.: This research investigates the oxidative potential of particulate matter and its impact on respiratory health in Bolivian high-altitude cities. DTT (Dithiothreitol) is used as a reducing agent to measure the oxidative potential of particulates, providing insights into their health impacts and guiding environmental policy (Borlaza-Lacoste et al., 2024).

Protein purification via consecutive histidine-polyphosphate interaction.: This study explores an innovative method for protein purification using DTT to maintain reducing conditions essential for the preservation of protein structures. The findings highlight DTT′s role in enhancing the efficiency and yield of protein purification processes, which is critical for biochemical research and industrial applications (Zhou et al., 2024).
