Answer:The enzyme is isolated from bovine pancreas.
Answer:The product has a specific activity of at least 50 Kunitz units per mg protein.
Answer:This configuration contains 100 mg.
Ribonuclease A from bovine pancreas is a Type I-A RNase supplied as a powder for general biochemical and molecular-biology use. This configuration contains 100 mg. The enzyme has a molecular weight of approximately 13.7 kDa, a specific activity of at least 50 Kunitz units per mg protein, and an RNase A content of at least 60% by SDS-PAGE. It is essentially free of salt and can be used for selective degradation of RNA in nucleic-acid preparations, removal of RNA contamination from DNA samples, and other workflows requiring pancreatic RNase activity. The enzyme is also suitable for cell-based assay applications.
